K9Rescue.net
K9Rescue.net is a free email forwarding service set up for communication between people with a rescue situation and others wanting to help. Please forgive ads.

If you have a breed rescue situation, send email to help@k9rescue.net. Note required format below.

Your email will be automatically forwarded to individuals on this email network. These are people who have asked to be notified in the event of a rescue situation in their breed and/or geography. Some recipients may represent different groups: national breed rescue, for example. While others are your basic dog lovers. Upon receiving your email they can then reply you directly with specific help or advice

Note:  Your email subject line must completely spell out 3 items: Breed, Place, & Need  (eg miniature bull terrier needs rescue ohio). Our computer uses these 3 items in the subject line to determine who receives your email and forwards it automatically. If you omit any of them, you may lose potential assistance. (by the way, we have found that using all lower case letters will forward your message faster!)

In the body of your email message, include all the details you can think of to describe the situation fully. Do not skimp on details. Time may be of the essence and small details can help bring about a successful outcome.

DO NOT SEND PICTURES via K9Rescue.net. They will be stripped from your message and will bog down the server. Send them directly to people who offer help in reply to your description if they request one.

We won't promise miracles or even that you will receive a reply from anyone able to resolve your situation. But we will  pass along your info to the volunteers and groups on the k9rescue.net list who asked to be notified of situations such as yours.

But you also may receive numerous emails from various people. How you handle them is up to you. But keep communications with them straight. Accept only the help you need. Once help is no longer needed, let them know. They'll want to learn of the outcome. Always close the communication loop with those who contact you.

If you know of other  individuals or groups that may be of help during a breed rescue situation, please have them join K9Rescue.net at this website.

If we were able to generate contacts for you, we'd like to hear how things turned out. And we'd also appreciate your feedback about your experience with our service.

Good Luck,   Postmaster@k9rescue.net
